Today's lesson

Today's lesson is part 3 of Eric's vocal warm up.
He says, "if you sound good while you are doing it, you're probably doing it wrong." Nice one.

  1. okay so..
i have a cd of warm ups that my teacher gave me
its about half an hours worth..
its a few breathing exercises..and then different other ones like scales (goo goo, gug gug, ghee ghee, mah mah, nay nay , may may etc...)and then some scale and a half. anyway my question is, should i do those too? like as many warm ups as possible? or is it not necessary?

  2. yes do em all. you should work up from singing a few min each day in the beginning & then 20 minute warm ups & then an hour or so.
If you wait too long in between warm ups like weeks or months, you should just start back at sqaure 1 with only doing 5 min a day up to an hour or so.
You don't have to do the scales for an hour you can sing real songs too.
